Roles Include:

Event Photography
Help us capture the people, moments, and energy of Earth Fest.

Native Plant Giveaway Support
(April 11 | 10:30 AM–3:30 PM)
Assist with distribution, flow, and friendly guidance.

Tree Giveaway Support
(April 11 | 10:30 AM–3:30 PM)
Support one of the most-loved parts of the event.

Door Greeters & Ambassadors
(April 11 | 10:30 AM–3:30 PM — shifts can be split into 1–2 hour sessions)
Welcome attendees, answer basic questions, and set the tone.

Flyer Distribution
(Beginning mid-February, ongoing)
Help spread the word across DeKalb County.

Peer-to-Peer Outreach
(Beginning mid-February, ongoing)
Invite friends, classmates, colleagues, and networks to attend.

Day-Of Event Load-In & Set-Up
(April 11 | 9:00–11:00 AM — walking and lifting required)

Day-Of Event Load-Out & Clean-Up
(April 11 | 3:00–4:30 PM — walking and lifting required)

Expo Load-In & Set-Up
(April 11 | 9:30–11:30 AM — walking and lifting required)

Expo Load-Out & Clean-Up
(April 11 | 2:30–4:00 PM — walking and lifting required)

DeCarbon DeKalb Booth / Photo Booth Support
(April 11 | 10:00–3:30 PM — shifts can be split into 1–2 hour sessions)

Good to Know

  • Many roles can be split into short shifts

  • Clear instructions and on-site support are provided

  • You don’t need prior experience - just a helpful, respectful presence

  • Volunteers are the connective tissue of the day
